Hi, I am Thomas

My main focus is on machine learning and data science, with a particular focus on applying ML methods to real-world problems. During my studies, I worked on projects including fine-tuning large language models for materials science data extraction, robot learning from diverse forms of human feedback, and the analysis, forecasting, and visualization of automotive parts demand.

I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, specializing in Artificial Intelligence during my master’s. My studies covered both the theoretical foundations of AI and practical applications in fields such as natural sciences, environmental sciences, and energy systems. I also supported KIT’s central introductory AI lecture for computer scientists several times as a tutor.
